Superintendent Council
For superintendents carrying districts, boards, budgets, and communities. The loneliest seat in education deserves a table of people who understand it.
Small, confidential groups of leaders who carry the same weight you do. No consultants. No audiences. Just peers who get it.
Every council starts with an application. We are not building a crowd. We are building a table. We need to know who you are and what you are carrying.
Councils meet throughout the year -- small groups, same members, real conversation. No keynotes. No name tags. Just leaders doing the work together.
Each session puts a real leadership challenge on the table. Your challenge. You bring it, the room helps you see what you cannot see alone.
Between sessions you act. You come back and report. The council holds you accountable -- not with pressure, but with presence. That is the difference.
Each council is capped at twelve members. Applications are reviewed personally. New councils open as demand warrants.

For superintendents carrying districts, boards, budgets, and communities. The loneliest seat in education deserves a table of people who understand it.

For executive directors and nonprofit leaders who serve everyone except themselves. Mission-driven does not mean martyr-driven.

For elected officials, civic leaders, and government executives. Public trust is heavy. You should not carry it without peers who know the cost.
Each session centers on a real challenge from a real member. The group listens, questions, and offers perspective. No advice from the stage. Wisdom from the circle.
What is said in the room stays in the room. Period. That is the only way leaders tell the truth about what they are actually facing.
You leave with commitments. You come back and report. The council does not let you hide from the work you said you would do.

Nine years of The Selfless Way, read by 800,000 a year. Founder and CEO of Madison365 and the 365 Leadership Summit, and an executive coach who has spent two decades in the rooms where the weight is real. Henry facilitates every council personally, because no one should carry it alone.
Masterminds are usually about business growth. Councils are about the whole leader. We talk about the decisions keeping you up at night, the relationships under strain, the weight no one else sees. Growth happens, but it is a byproduct of honesty, not a sales pitch.
Eight to twelve. Small enough that everyone speaks. Large enough that you hear perspectives beyond your own. We do not grow past twelve. When demand warrants, we start a new table.
Quarterly, with a mix of in-person gatherings and virtual sessions between them. The rhythm is designed for leaders whose calendars are already full.
Short application, then a conversation with Henry or a facilitator. We are looking for leaders who are serious about the work, not a credential to collect. Fit matters more than title.
Each council is sector-specific -- superintendents sit with superintendents, nonprofit leaders with nonprofit leaders. That shared context is what makes the room work. You do not have to explain your world before you can talk about your problem.
Council membership is discussed during the application process. We price to sustain, not to exclude. If cost is a barrier, say so -- we will figure it out.
The weight does not get lighter. But it gets different when someone else in the room has carried it too.
